No, you haven’t accidentally time travelled. While the ’90s are having an ultra-hot revival in some circles, the ’70s are having a rennaisance of their own. Stylish women are rocking fringe, flares, suede, and skyscraper platforms in full haute hippie mode.
Julia Decker is right on trend in this photoshoot for Flakemag. The German model and makeup artist donned crochet and retro gym shorts for photographer Bob Sala, as she sipped a fizzy drink and caught up on her Hunter S. Thompson reading. Sala dubbed the shoot ‘Inherent Vice”, and accompanied it with quote from Thomas Pynchon’s novel of the same name:
“What goes around may come around, but it never ends up exactly the same place, you ever notice? Like a record on a turntable, all it takes is one groove’s difference and the universe can be on into a whole ’nother song.”
The dynamic duo of Sala and Decker also shot a video for the occasion.
